Salary: Grade 8, £33,311 - £35,114 per annum. Approximate pro rata £29,514 - £31,112 per annum (0.88602 FTE).

About us and the role

We wish to recruit a Business Support Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for Business and Administrative support to the school and be the key point of contact between the centralised Finance & HR Teams.

Avanti Fields School is an all-through, faith designated (Hindu) state school which welcomed the first intake of Year 7 students in September 2018. The school is rapidly expanding and will grow year by year to a full cohort of 1,320. This is an exciting time to join the school as it continues its journey to outstanding.

What will you do?

  • Be responsible for advising the senior leadership team and the SSC on various matters to ensure the smooth running of the school.
  • Ensure new members of the office staff are fully trained and inducted on the use of office and ICT equipment
  • Research grants and sources of funding and have marketing responsibilities for promoting the extended school service
  • Build close working relationship with the Senior Leadership Team and SSC.
  • Proactively review resources and spending priorities to ensure that school development plan targets reflect budget planning.
